ARTIST Statement
I look up.
The sky, sun, moon, stars and beyond.
The universe.
How do I begin to understand?
Diagrams of galaxies, constellations, black holes.
This scientific imagery holds more inspiration for my work than any story, any art.
I arrange models - faceless and stripped performers - along with set pieces of my
own design to interpret the abstract ideas set forth by cosmology.
My record is a photograph exposed by the light from the sun.
My reason is that I cannot stop.
